Edward Andrew Peeples, 78, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest on
Sunday, April 25, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Charleston, the
son of Harry A. Peeples and Edna Schutt Peeples, on Wednesday, June 10,
1931. After graduation from Charleston High School in 1949, Mr. Peeples
enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving our country
honorably he was awarded the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart during the
Korean War. In 1958, He graduated from The Citadel. Mr. Peeples was a
retired Industrial Specialist with the Naval Electronic System Command
at the Charleston Naval Shipyard and a lifetime member of St. Matthew
Lutheran Church. He is survived by a son, William E. K. “Kemm” Peeples;
a step daughter, Mickee Marsh Brown; Kemm’s mother, Carol K. Marsh; two
step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. Mr. Peeples was
predeceased by a step-daughter, Shera Marsh Jones and two brothers,
Ralph Peeples and Harry Peeples, Jr.. The relatives and friends of
Edward A. Peeples, Jr. are invited to attend his Funeral Service at the
Graveside at 2:30 PM, Monday, May 10, 2010, in Plantation Memorial
