DeAnn Maria Martin, 48, of Eastover, SC, a former school psychologist for Richland County School District One, died Monday morning at her residence. Her funeral will be 3:00 PM Thursday afternoon, December 24, 2015, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 PM until the hour of service Thursday. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Omar Shriners Children’s Fund, 176 Patriots Point, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464, or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Mrs. Martin was born August 18, 1967, in Charleston, SC, a daughter of Eugene Morgan Martin and Yvonne Morris Martin Dangerfield. She was a graduate of Bishop England High School, the University of SC, and received her Masters and Ed.S from The Citadel. Mrs. Martin was a member of Deer Park Baptist Church, N. Charleston, and enjoyed water skiing, deer hunting, and going to flea markets. She was a collector of various things and loved all animals, especially her horses. But more than anything, she loved children. Surviving are, her husband, Dale Segura; her mother and step father, Ralph Dangerfield, of Goose Creek; a son, Cody Segura of Eastover; a sister, Cindy Martin of Ft. Lauderdale; a step sister, Robin Goldston of Mt. Pleasant; a step brother, Rick Dangerfield of Mt. Pleasant; a niece, Nicole Rabon; and a nephew, Chris Martin.
