D. Ashley Fox, of Palm Springs, Calif., died July 5, 2017, at His Home In Palm Springs, Ca. After A Long And Valiant Battle With Cancer. He Was Born In New York To Charles And Aylish Fox Of Copake, N.Y. He Grew Up In Copake And Graduated From Berkshire School In Sheffield, Ma. He Then Headed To South Carolina For College Where He Attended The Citadel In Charleston, And Graduated In 1990 With A B.A. Degree. He Moved Out To The West Coast Shortly After Graduation Where He Spent Time Living In San Francisco And Los Angeles. He Worked For Many Years With An Insurance Company Out Of L.A. As An Account Executive. All Creatures Great And Small Were Dear To His Heart, With A Particular Affinity For Cats. He Travelled Extensively, Had A Marvelous Sense Of Humour, Loved The Theatre, And A Wide Variety Of Music. He Was A Very Generous, Thoughtful And Caring Person. He Will Be Sadly Missed By His Sorrowing Parents, Brother Charles (Ann), Nephews, Charles, Will, Cole All Of Savannah, Ga., Auntie June, San Diego, Ca., Auntie Paula (Sean), Pompano Beach, Fl., Cousins Gavan And Lester Barlow, Aidan (Patricia) Maguire, Along With Numerous Other Cousins All Of Dublin, Ireland, And Michael (Patricia) Crinion, So. Dakota, Along With His Beloved Cats Bingo And Pepper. A Memorial Service Will Be Held At The Church Of St. John In The Wilderness At The Family’S Convenience. Funeral Arrangements Are With Peck And Peck, Copake, N.Y. 12516. In Lieu Of Flowers Donations May Be Made In His Name To Columbia-Greene Humane Society, 125 Humane Society Road, Hudson, N.Y., 12534.
