FLORENCE – Christopher Marshall Senseney, MD, died January 4, 2003. He was born in Columbia March 13, 1965, a son of Harvey Greenlee and Susan Turner Senseney, III. He graduated from South Florence High School in 1983 and from The Citadel in 1987. While at The Citadel, he was in Whos Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, he was a Citadel Scholar, a member of the Summerall Guard Precision Rifle Drill Team, and Cadet Captain G Company Commander, and Gold Stars Presidents List. In 1993 he graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina, where he also completed a residency in Internal Medicine. He has practiced Internal Medicine at MUSC since that time. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Charleston. Survivors, in addition to his parents of Florence, include his wife, Jane Senseney of Charleston; his twin brother, Jon (Susan Flynn) Senseney and their children, Flynn, Sam and Jack, of Rock Hill, SC; his sister, Ashley S. (Gregg) Higson and their children, Sullivan and Elizabeth of Charlotte, NC. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, January 8, 2003 in Central United Methodist Church in Florence, directed by WATERS-POWELL FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. A memorial service will also be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church (843-766-8311) in Charleston at 11 AM on Thursday, January 9, 2003. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
