SCHUTEKER, Charlotte Charlotte Jo Goode Schuteker, 56, of Mount Pleasant, SC, died on July 6, 2006. The friends and relatives of Charlotte Schuteker are invited to attend her funeral service Monday, July 10, 2006 in The Unitarian Church of Charleston, 4 Archdale Street, Charleston, SC, at 6:00 o’clock. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Friends may express their condolences and well wishes at Gage Hall, The Unitarian Church of Charleston following the service. Charlotte was born January 9, 1950 in Birmingham, Alabama, daughter of the James Goode and the late Eula Mae Black Goode. She served in the US Navy as a photographer, held a Masters degree in Learning Disabilities from The Citadel and taught for 14 years at Trident Academy. She is survived by her father, James Goode of Birmingham, AL, a daughter Amy Rettberg and her husband, Charles, of Summerville, SC, a son, Bill Schuteker and his wife, Stephanie, of Goose Creek, SC, a sister, Patricia Gensemer and her husband, Terry, of Birmingham, AL and seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to My Sister’s House, P.O. Box 5341, North Charleston, SC 29405 or The Unitarian Church of Charleston Coffee House and its social justice programs.
