Charles Lee Brigman, 75, a Retired Broker of Charleston, South Carolina entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 28, 2013. His Funeral Service will be held Sunday, December 1, 2013 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Charles was born November 26, 1938 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Frank Leon Brigman, Jr., and Laurabell Jones Brigman. Charles graduated from Rivers High School, downtown Charleston in 1956 and the Citadel in 1960. He was a member of the American Legion Post 147 and the National Rifle Association. He is survived by his two daughters; Brenda M. Brigman and Beverly Brigman Kline (Spike),a grandson; Hudson William Kline, a granddaughter; Mary Frances Kline all of James Island, SC and also a brother; Frank L Brigman III of Charleston, SC. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty years, Frances Hudson Brigman. Known to his close circle of friends as the “Goatman” affectionately. He was an avid outdoorsman who relished his time hunting and fishing. Memorials may be made to Kiawah Conservancy, 80 Kestrel Court, Kiawah Island, SC 29455.
