Charles “Chuck” Albrecht Jr., former president of Drake, Beam, Morin of NY, died of cancer on Thursday, January 16, 2014 with his wife and family by his side at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. Born September 20, 1939 to Charles and Edna (Hahn) Albrecht Sr. in New City, NY. He graduated from Clarkstown High School, New City, NY in 1957 and from The Citadel in 1961. Chuck entered the U.S. Air Force and was a highly decorated Captain as a B-52 Radar Navigator, flying 118 missions in the Vietnam War. He was an avid golfer, upland hunter and offshore fisherman. In his later years, he could be found watching the sporting activities of his 12 grandchildren. In addition to his wife Arlene of 51 years, he is survived by his sister Candace Levinson of VA and three sons and their families: Charles and Heather Albrecht; grandchildren Connor Charles, Quinn, Deegan and Shane of Chapel Hill, NC; Scott and Theresa Albrecht; grandchildren Scott Jr., Brittney, Trevor, Tatum and Hunter Charles of Mahwah, NJ and Montauk, NY, and Timothy and Colleen Albrecht; grandchildren Camryn, Tori and Caden of Jamison, PA. A celebration of life service is to be held at St. Therese of Lisieux Church in Montauk, NY on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11:00. Burial followed at Fort Hill Cemetery in Montauk, NY. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9pm, Sunday, January 19th at the Yardley & Pino Funeral Home, 84 Pantigo Rd., East Hampton, NY 11937.
