Ellis I. Kahn, ’58, was honored by the Charleston Jewish Federation the establishment of the Ellis Kahn Philanthropy Award to be awarded annually to a deserving member of the community. He was doubly honored as the first recipient of this award.

On January 13, 2025, Jeffrey J. Cunningham, Jr., ’04, launched the law firm, Cohen Vaughan LLP, as a founding partner with 75 lawyers in seven states focusing on commercial litigation and trial work. He is also co-chair of the professional liability practice group and the firm’s general counsel.
