Lt. Colonel Carlyn Rex Morrow, Jr., USAF (Ret), 64, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Judy Caverly Morrow died Sunday, September 14, 2014. The relatives and friends of Rex Morrow, Jr. are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Thursday, September 18, 2014 in the J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the Northwoods Chapel on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Rex was born November 5, 1949 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, son of the late Carlyn Rex Morrow, Sr. and the late Velma Connie Murray Morrow. He served in the United States Air Force for 23 years. He received his bachelors degree from the University of South Carolina and his masters degree from The Citadel. Rex was the Department Head for History and Humanities at Trident Technical College for 11 years and served the Berkeley County School System for 15 years. He lived in Moncks Corner for 27 years. Rex is survived by his wife, Judy Morrow of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Connie Wood and her husband, Shawn, of Moncks Corner, SC and Kathryn Meltzer and her husband, Matt, of Charleston, SC; one son, Joshua Morrow and his wife, Amanda, of Santee, SC; five grandchildren, Isabelle Wood, Hayes Wood, Samuel Wood, Brice Morrow and Allie Morrow; two sisters, Connie Sheppard, of Liberty, SC and Nita Grainger of Pinopolis, SC.
