Carl Melton Roof, 45, of Boiling Springs, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011. He is the son of Melton and Helen Roof of Boiling Springs. He is survived by his parents and his sister, Helen Elizabeth Atkins and her husband Michael of Campobello. He was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School class of 1983, The Citadel class of 1987 and the Medical University of South Carolina. He was a registered nurse. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Springs of Grace Lutheran Church on Highway 9 in Inman, with The Rev. Judson F. Merrell presiding. Visitation with the family will be at 10:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
