Clayton Scott King, 56, of Moncks Corner, SC, a retired service manager for Hill Tire Company, died Thursday, Jan. 23, at his residence. His funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday afternoon, January 25, 2014, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM this Friday evening. Mr. King was born January 8, 1958, a son of Bobby O. King and Margaret Schultz King. He attended Freedom Church. Mr. King attended the Citadel on a football scholarship where he played for the Bulldogs. He enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, and fishing. Mr. King was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Wayne King. Surviving are, his wife, Brenda K. Balmonte King one daughter, Corinthia “Cori” Bradt and her husband, Michael, of Moncks Corner one son, David O. King and his wife, Stephanie, of Moncks Corner one brother, James H. “Hack” King of Moncks Corner thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Tags: 1980
