Brian S. Miner, of Sumter, passed away this Thursday, September 28. “Beez,” as named by his daughter Izabella, was a loving son, husband and father. He is survived by his lovely wife, Dell Bryson Miner; daughter, Izzy Heise; grandmother, Mary Ramones; mother and stepfather, Diane and Charles Milam; father, Fred Miner and his wife, Leslie; sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Collins Hartzog; and niece and nephew, Sam and Marianna. His extended family includes brother and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brian graduated from the Citadel in 1993 and worked in the construction industry all his life. In the last days of his life, Brian’s Citadel brothers came to Charleston to tell stories and reminisce. Beez said the visits “warmed his heart and humbled him.” The funeral service will be held at Saint James Church, 1872 Camp Road, Charleston, SC 29412 at 11:00AM, Tuesday, October 3. The family will receive friends in the Parlor of the Ministry Center at Saint James from 10:00 to 11:00AM.
