CHERAW – Mr. Brevard Duke Buck Kendall, Jr., age 74, died Saturday July 8, 2006, at his home. Memorial services will be Monday July l0, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel with private burial in Rivers Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home immediately following the service. Mr. Kendall was born in Wadesboro, NC, a son of the late Brevard Duke Kendall and Mary Katherine Rivers Kendall. He was a graduate of Cheraw High School and was also a graduate of The Citadel and Georgia Tech. Mr. Kendall was an electrical engineer having worked with General Electric for 35 years overseas, and was a farmer. Buck served as a 1st Lt. in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors: wife, Maria R. Kendall of the home; 2 sons, Mark McRae Kendall of Florida and Capt. John Alexander Kendall, U.S. Army Ft. Bragg, NC; 1 sister, Sybil Kendall Little and husband A.D. Little, Jr. of Marietta, GA; also, a number of nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law and 3 brothers-in-law, and his cat Puddy. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Chesterfield County, P.O.
