Brett Sangunett, 59, passed away on November 20, 2024. Born on March 13, 1965, Brett was known for his generous spirit, his leadership, and his unwavering dedication to both his work and his loved ones. A proud graduate of The Citadel Military College, Brett was deeply connected to his alma mater and carried the values of discipline, integrity, and honor throughout his life. He enjoyed a distinguished career in both retail
management and data management, where he was admired as a manager and leader who genuinely cared for the people around him. Brett’s generosity and willingness to help others were hallmarks of his character. He was always ready to lend a hand to a friend, family member, or even a stranger in need. Outside of work, Brett had a deep love for life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who loved to ride, often finding peace in the open road. A true outdoorsman at heart, Brett adored the mountains, where he spent countless hours exploring, and soaking in the beauty of nature. His passion for Griz football was also well-known, and he was a devoted fan of the team, always cheering them on through every season. Brett was also a proud dog lover, and his “girls”Shelby, Keena, Gypsy and Siennabrought him immeasurable joy and companionship throughout the years. His bond with them reflected the love and care he shared with all who were lucky enough to know him. He will always be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the lasting impact he made on everyone he met.
