Brenda Hunter Frank, 58, of Moncks Corner, wife of Glenn Frank, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013,at her parent’s home. Brenda was born May 31, 1954, in Moncks Corner, a daughter of Clarence Hunter, Sr., and Della Ann Metts Hunter. Brenda received a Bachelor’s Degree from Baptist College and her Masters Degree in Reading from the Citadel. She taught for 37-1/2 years at Cross Elementary School and had been the Grade Level Chairperson for the first grade there. Brenda had a God-given talent as a piano player and as a vocalist. She served as the choir director and musician at Friendship United Methodist Church. She was also an avid Gamecock fan. Surviving in addition to her husband, are two brothers, Johnny Hunter and his wife, Brenda Jean, of Pinopolis; and Cecil “”C.C.”” Hunter, Jr. of Pinopolis; her sister, Mary Clarke and her husband, James, of Pineville; eight nephews; three nieces; ten great-nephews and nieces; and many “”school babies.”” Her funeral service will be held at Russell Funeral Chapel, Moncks Corner, Saturday afternoon, April 13, 2013, at 4 o’clock. Interment will follow in Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel between 6 and 8 o’clock Friday evening, April 12, 2013.
