Captain Anthony Rollin Hall, USNR, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the age of 50. Tony was born and raised in Pumpkintown SC; he received his Bachelors from The Citadel Military academy then went on to fly A6 Intruders and F-14 Tomcats for our country. He was awarded various combat decorations for operational and tactical excellence. Tony then entered the professional work force after receiving his masters in Information Systems Management from Webster University and climbed through the ranks in the corporate world to be named Vice President at Gartner. Tony is survived by three children, Andrew (25), Jennifer (22), and Caroline (19) of Lexington KY; mother, Sonja; brother, Tommy; and his fiancée, Gwyn Whittaker. Services for Captain Hall will be held Tuesday, October 20 at Fort Myers Army Base Memorial Chapel in Arlington, VA from 11 to 12 noon followed by a reception at the Officer”s Club. He will be laid to rest in Pickens South Carolina following a service for friends and family.
