Frederick Harold ""Rick"" Parris Jr., 64, died Tuesday, February 27, 2007. Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Frederick H. and Elizabeth Craig Parris. Rick grew up in Lyman, S.C., and was a graduate of James F. Byrnes High School. He was also a 1965 graduate of The Citadel, and was member of the Citadel Alumni Association and the Brigadier Club. Mr. Parris was owner of Rick Parris Craftsman & Builders. He was an Episcopalian. Surviving are his longtime partner, Carol M. Johnson; his daughter, Melissa P. Sisk and her husband, Bill, of Powder Springs, Ga.; two grandchildren, Erin Leigh Sisk and Ann Elizabeth Sisk; Carol's children, Bill J. Johnson of Mobile, Ala., and Clinton M. Johnson and his wife, Lesley, of Greenville, S.C., and their children, Riley Elizabeth and Colin Myers; a sister, Susan P. Sheffield of Durham, N.C.; a brother, Jackson A. Parris and his wife, Martha, of Pickens, S.C., and their daughter, Keely S. Mabry and her husband, Billy, of Spartanburg, S.C.
