Received the General Robert Woods scholarship to The Citadel. General Woods was a very close friend of Gen. Mark Clark. Played football and ran track. Was captain of the track team that won the Southern Conference track meet in 1959. Went on to atteend law school at night for 3 1/2 years while working as a Revenue Agent for the IRS. Retired after having a succesful law practice, specializing in tax law, for 46 years.
