Obituary:
Stephen Z. Bardowski, 66, of Enola, PA, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. Born June 24, 1950, in Gary, IN, Steve was son of the late Zenon and Marilyn Rae (Badanish) Bardowski. Mr. Bardowski was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War as a Captain. He was a graduate of Andrean High School, Class of '68; The Citadel, Class of '72; and earned his Master's Degree from George Washington University.
Steve was retired as an Educational Specialist for the U.S. Navy as a civilian employee in Mechanicsburg, PA. He was a life member of Carlisle Fish & Game, National Rifle Association, and the VFW. He was an enthusiast of open wheel Indy racing cars, military history, and the Chicago Bears and he loved dogs.
