William Joseph “Joe” Stricklin, of Beaufort, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Karen Stricklin and devoted father to Shelby Stricklin (Kerri Price) and Will Stricklin.
Joe was the son of the late William Joseph Stricklin Jr. and Willie Fae(Brown) Stricklin. He was a proud graduate of The Citadel, Class of 1972.
Joe had many passions throughout his life, including martial arts, water skiing, fishing, and golf. But above all else, he loved spending time with his family. Whether watching golf on television, cruising the waters around Beaufort and Charleston, or simply enjoying time together, being with the people he loved was what mattered most to him.
Joe will be remembered for the love he had for his family and the many memories he created with them. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Joe’s family will hold a private celebration of life.
