Jimmy (Jim) G. Alexander of Lake Wylie, SC passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 after a long illness.
He was born August 28, 1938 in Forest City, N.C. to the late Lunette Alexander Carpenter and the late Elias A. Alexander. Jim was a graduate of Cool Springs High School, Class of 1957 and went on to graduate from The Citadel, in Charleston S.C. While at the Citadel he was a member of the 1961 Tangerine Bowl Team and the 1962 Southern Conference Championship. Jim was retired from E.I. DuPont Company and T.A. Instruments, Marketing Development.
Survivors are his wife, Nancy Todd Alexander; sons, Todd Alexander (Tammy) of Kannapolis N.C. and Craig Alexander (Andrea) of Rock Hill, S.C. Jim was a proud grandfather to Jenna and William Alexander of Kannapolis, N.C.; Sutton and Eli Alexander of Rock Hill, S.C. Brother Harold (Liz) of Rutherfordton, N.C.; Sister Janice Bradley of Rock Hill, S.C. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no funeral service at this time.
