Gerald Park Koller, 83, of Randolph, N.J., went home to
be with his Lord and Savior on April 17, 2020, at a home care facility
in Morristown, New Jersey. Due to current circumstances, no service will
be held. A Memorial service will follow at a later date. Jerry was born
March 25, 1937, in South Orange, New Jersey to Arthur and Mabel Koller.
He grew up in Mt. Lebanon, PA (near Pittsburgh) and graduated from the Citadel
in 1960 with a Bachelor in Science. Jerry married his first wife, Nora
Koller, and the couple returned to New Jersey and had 6 children. In
1986, Jerry came into the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous, and
followed the program Came to Believe, and recovered! Jerry was an
outdoorsman who enjoyed a variety of activities such as hunting and
fishing. He was an all-conference champion wrestler in college, and he
had a musical talent that allowed him to play instruments by ear. Jerry
could also fix anything, and you’d often see him bent over an engine or
motor. Jerry is survived by his sister Claire (Robert) Runger, 4
daughters; Jill (John) Sommer, Lynne (Robert) Johnson, Sharon (Michael)
Salerno, Marybeth Koller; and daughter-in-law Janet Koller. He also had 9
grandchildren; Ryan (Ginny) Nelson, Stephen (Kayla) Nelson, Bethany
(Tyler) Fordice, Willy (Gabby) Koller, Daniel (Hannah) Johnson, Jimmy
Koller, Amanda Salerno, Emily Salerno, and Nicholas Salerno; as well as
his ex-wife, Susan Koller. He was preceded in death by his sons, Brian
and Michael Koller. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Came to
