Frank Earl Waters Jr., 69, of Orangeburg, SC, passed away on August 3, 2026.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Orangeburg Lutheran Church, with Pastor Rick Mason officiating. The family will receive friends at 12:00pm same day as the service in the church fellowship hall.
Frank was born in Charleston, SC, a son of the late Frank Earl Waters, Sr. and the late Inger Marie Myrdal Waters. He was a graduate of The Citadel Class of 1980 where he received his bachelor’s degree. Frank was a beloved former general manager for Piggly Wiggly for a number of years. He was a Free Mason, a member of Orangeburg Lutheran Church, a member of the Rotary Club, and a former member of the Orangeburg Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed being an artist and loved being a helping hand in his community by donating to Salvation Army and food drives.
Frank is survived by his twin children, Frank “Tripp” Earl Waters, III and Leslie Waters (Brandon Bratcher); granddaughter, Ashley Waters; siblings, Denise Bauld (Greg), Gregg Waters, and Brad Waters; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Michelle Waters.
