Charles Andrew Rumble, 53, of Waxhaw, NC, husband of Sheila Weber Rumble died Wed., Jan. 23, 2019 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Charlie was born January 17, 1966 in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, son of the late Wilson Baxter and the late Barbara Jean Downes Rumble. Charlie grew up in Charleston, SC attended Porter Gaud School and The Citadel, and later the College of Charleston where he earned degrees in both Chemistry and Biochemistry. He served in the army as a Medic, worked at MeadWestvaco where along with others he developed several waterborne polymer patents, and later became a self made business analyst for Expense Reduction throughout the US for large businesses. Charlie is survived by his wife Sheila Weber Rumble, sons Charles Andrew Rumble, Jr., Lucas Baxter Rumble, and daughters Grace Nicole Rumble, and Claire Margaret Rumble. He is also survived by sisters Catherine R. Lively, Laurie R. Snedeker, Susie R. Woodward and brother Wilson Baxter Rumble. Charlie was an amazing, loving husband, father, brother, and friend, and will be eternally loved and forever missed. A Memorial Service will be private and held at a later date.
