Richard A. “Dick” Kronick, 78, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Marsha Yaschik Kronick entered into eternal rest Wednesday, October 17, 2018. His graveside service will be held Sunday, October 21, 2018 in Brith Sholom Beth Israel Cemetery (Maryville), Sycamore Avenue at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Dick was born November 28, 1939 in Greenfield, Massachusetts, son of the late Macey Kronick, MD and the late Harriett Levinson Kronick. He graduated from the Dublin School, earned a History Degree from Hobart College and a Masters Degree in History from The Citadel. He was a career officer for 20 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Major. After the Air Force, Dick joined Lockheed Martin as a safety engineer. He was a member of Brith Sholom Beth Israel Synagogue, the Charleston Amateur Radio Club and the Hebrew Benevolent Society. Dick is survived by his wife, Marsha, of Charleston, SC; daughter, Rachel K. Rothbart (James) of Los Angeles, CA; son, Marcus E. Kronick of Charleston, SC; and two grandchildren: Hayley and David Rothbart. He was predeceased by his sister, Judith G. Kronick.
