Warren Young Adkins III, born on May 10, 1966, in Gainesville, Florida, passed away peacefully from natural causes on May 22, 2025, in Charleston, South Carolina, where he resided. A dedicated clinical psychologist, Warren was known for his compassionate approach and his commitment to improving the lives of those around him. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University before pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Psychology at The Citadel, a testament to his lifelong dedication to education and personal growth. Warren is survived by his sister, Stella Gadsden and his uncles, Horace Canady and Clifford Adkins, who will cherish his memory. He will be remembered for his remarkable intellect, kindness and his ability to inspire those he encountered. A graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM, to honor and celebrate the life of Warren Young Adkins III. Warren’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Adkins, Jr. and Margaret Adkins.
