On Saturday, March 29th, 2025, Anna Henri Arant, age 76, peacefully passed away in Summerville, SC. She was born in Monroe, NC, in August 1948 to the late Bill and Helen Arant and was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Billy S. Arant of Chattanooga, TN.
Anna was an alumna of Pageland High School, Winthrop University, and The Citadel. She was passionate and dedicated to education and devoted 36 years of her career to teaching middle school mathematics. Anna was an avid gardener and loved to work in her yard, her azaleas and camellias were her pride and joy.
Anna was married to Richard Seastrunk for 43 years until his passing in 2020. She is survived by her sons, Will Seastrunk (Katrina) and David Seastrunk of Summerville. Special thanks are extended to Paul Burch (Kim), Warren Burch (Jane), and Kendall Burch Graves (Christian) of her Pageland family, as well as to her colleagues at Alston Middle School.
A public graveside service will be conducted at First Baptist Church in Pageland on Sunday, April 6th at 2:30 pm with Dr. Joel Dale officiating.
