Major Thomas Coburn Moore, II U.S. Army, (Ret.)
69, of Indianapolis, passed away June 30, 2016. He was born October 6, 1946 to the late Thomas Coburn and Dorothy Blake Moore. Tom graduated from Clewiston High School (FL) in 1964, The Citadel Military College in 1968 and the I.U. School of Law (Indianapolis) in 1986. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a decorated Cobra Pilot during the Vietnam War from 1970 to 1972, retiring with 20 years of military service. Tom was an attorney for 25 years, retiring from Moore & Associates. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He cherished his family and the times spent at their beach house on Hutchinson Island.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Rd., with visitation one hour prior.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Elaine Moore; sister, Terry Moore Mazzina; children, Jeannine Victery (James), Thomas E. Moore (Krissy), David Moore (Rebekah) and Julianne Moore; step-siblings, Nan Nell Crosby and Jay Ward Clark; and 11 grandchildren. Two step-brothers preceded him in death.
