The Memorial Service for Thomas Waldrop Izlar will be held at the French Huguenot Church corner of Church and Queen Streets, Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 2:00PM. Memorials may be made to the French Huguenot Church, Office Address 44 Queen Street, Charleston, S.C. 20401. Thomas W. Izlar of Charleston, husband of Laura H. Ross Izlar died Thursday, October 16, 2014. Thomas was born September 16, 1928 in Charleston, S.C. son of Gladys and Llewellyn Izlar. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran graduate of the Citadel in Electrical Engineering in 1958. He was a member of the French Huguenot Church, the St. Andrew’s Society and the Washington Light Infantry. He is survived by his wife Laura and her daughter, Connie Ross and his former wife Mary Ann Flynn, daughter Nancy Bryson, son Edward Izlar, three granddaughters, Olivia, Audrey, Caroline, grandson William Thomas; two great grandchildren, Pierce and Kalia.
