Steven A. Fritz, age 61, of Clearwater, FL, died May 15, 2014. Survived by wife of 33 years, Melinda Lanter Fritz; daughters, Amy Fritz Younce (Craig) and Emily Fritz; grandsons, Matthew and Alex Younce; mother, Nancy Beeton Fritz; brothers, John Fritz, David Fritz (Michelle) and Paul Fritz (Tanya); 4 nieces and 6 nephews. Mr. Fritz was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Fritz; and father, Edmund Fritz. Steven was born in Miami, Nov. 30, 1952. He is a graduate of Clearwater High School and The Citadel. He served in the U.S. Army for 14 years, attaining the rank of Major. Steven worked for AAA Auto Club South for 14 years, followed by the last 7 years for Florida Blue in Tampa. Steven was an active member of his church, First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks. Funeral to be held on May 24, at 11 am, at the First Baptist Church Indian Rocks sanctuary. Viewing & visitation at 10 am, prior to the service. Burial will follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2850 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater.
