Vandivier, Dudley Parkhurst VANDIVIER, DUDLEY PARKHURST, 82, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Christopher East Nursing Home. He was a native of Slaughters, KY, an Army veteran of World War II, retiring as a lieutenant colonel, and an owner of Vandivier Froment Roth Carpenter Insurance Agency. He was a graduate of Male High School and The Citadel, becoming a commissioned officer, and Highland Methodist Church. He was also an avid golfer. Mr. Vandivier is survived by his wife, Eve Kalusy Vandivier; sons, Bradley Woodson Vandivier (Sharon) and Eric Parkhurst Vandivier; daughters, Suzanne Alvey (Thomas) and Deborah Lee Vandivier; brother, Robert C. Vandivier; sister, Anne Elizabeth Wallace; and three grandchildren. His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at Highlands. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Parkinson’s Association.
