SENTELL, Bobby Bobby Gene Sentell, 74, of North Charleston, husband of Ruth E. Sentell, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2004 at a local hospital. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 20, 2004 at 3 p.m. at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston. Burial to follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, March 19, 2004, 6-9 p.m. at Carolina Memorial Funeral home. Born March 24, 1929, in Knoxville, TN, he was the son of the late Ferdinand Sentell and Virginia Smith Sentell. Mr. Sentell was an Army Veteran whom served in WW II. Mr. Sentell was a retired Scheduler/Planner with the Pomplant. He also worked for H & R Block. Mr. Sentell was of the Lutheran faith, a 1957 graduate of the Citadel where he was 2nd in his class. Survivors include his wife, Ruth E. Weinberg Sentell of North Charleston; two daughters, Karen Sentell and her husband Daniel Coffman of Alpharetta, GA, Michelle Morris of Mebane, NC; two sons, Gene Sentell and wife Kathryn of NY, Ronald Sentell and wife Linda of St. Mary’s, GA; four grandchildren, Robin Barrett and husband Morgan of NY, Erik Sentell and wife Kim of Washington, Christopher Sentell of St. Mary’s, GA, Aaron Sentell also of St. Mary’s, GA. Arrangements are being handled by CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME.
