Notice Cotten, Francis Walter COTTEN, FRANCIS WALTER, 76 Ocala – Francis Fritz Walter Cotten, 76, a long time resident of Ocala, Florida passed Saturday, June 23, 2007 following a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born September 9, 1930 in Charleston, SC. Left to cherish his many memories is his first wife, Rita Marietta; his second wife, Patsy Bowen; his 4 sons, Bobby, Larry, Gary and Greg; his daughter, Julie; and their spouses. In addition he has 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A graduate of the Citadel Military Academy in Charleston, Fritz served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. His entrepreneurial skills led him to form Suncoast insulation and later Suncoast Wall & Ceiling Incorporated. Fritz loved to fish, play golf and be surrounded by his family and friends. He is loved and will be missed by all. The family will receive from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2007 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, Ocala. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highlands Memorial Park Cemetery.
