Daniel M. Fort, 82, of Munster, IN, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Fort of Munster, IN; daughter, Linda Pickett of Leawood, KS; brother, Robert (Phyllis) Fort of Claremore, OK; and sister, Marjorie (Harry) Geaslen of Avon, OH. Mr. Fort was a graduate of The Citadel (BS), The University of Chicago (MBA) and John Marshall Law School (JD). He was a proud veteran having served with the 10th Mountain Division in Italy and the ETO Far East in Okinawa. He retired from Carson Pirie Scott as Vice President of Administration and Corporate Secretary after 39 years of service. Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 4, 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1101 Park Drive, Munster, IN. Private interment. Memorial donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Avenue, Miami, FL 33136.
