ATLANTA, Ga. – Graveside funeral service for Mr. Julius M. Efron will be held Tuesday March 13, 2001 at 10:30 a.m.. at sons of Israel Cemetery, Aiken, SC. with Rabbi Jordan Parr officiating. those attending the service may gather at 9:30 a.m. at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown chapel, 211 park Ave. SW, Aiken, SC. Memorial donations should be directed to The Citadel 171 Moultrie St. Charleston, SC 29409. Mr. Efron, 82, died Saturday at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. A native of St. Louis Missouri, He lived in Sparta, Ill. and grew up in Aiken, SC. He had lived in Atlanta since 1946. Mr. Efron graduated as valedictorian of Aiken High School class of 1934 and then graduated with honors from The Citadel. A veteran of WWII, he attained the rank of Captain in the US Army. He was the founder of Action Capital Corp., Atlanta, Ga., an international factoring company for the transportation industry. Mr. Efron is survived by his wife, Katharina (Peters) Efron, Atlanta, Ga; a sister, Beatrice (Efron) Mink, Atlanta, GA ; and nephews Carl Lawrence and David Mink.
