Wilson, Leland Augustus WILSON Leland Augustus Wilson, 73, passed on after a brief and unexpected illness. He was a retired business executive and an Army Lieutenant Colonel. He hailed from Newberry, SC., attended Newberry High School and graduated with honors from the Citadel as a 2nd Lieutenant. He spent his productive work years with the Clinchfield, Atlantic Coastline and CSX Railroads; completing his career as Mechanical Director/ Intermodal services. Mr. Wilson is survived by his only daughter Deborah Ann Wilson and husband Jeffrey E. Kujala; two grandsons Steven Lee Matthews and wife Jennifer Matthews and Daniel Alan Matthews; his brother Randolph Lee Wilson and wife Kathleen Wilson; his nephew Martin Wilson and wife Hope Wilson with their child Courtney Wilson; his step-son Santos Reda and wife Sandra and the youngest grandson Andrew. Rick’s steadfast strength, reliability and love will be missed by all of us as he begins a new and magnificent life with our Lord. He will be forever loved and forever missed. The family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd. on Sunday, December 23, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. The funeral will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, December 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. with The Reverend Dave Spaulding officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery where full military honors will be rendered.
