John T. Jack Beuttas, a resident of Doylestown since 1997, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at Pine Run Health Center. He was 79. He was the loving husband for 51 years of Frauke Elisabeth Scheer Beuttas. Born in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of the late John W. and Mildred Temple Beuttas. Jack was a graduate of Northwestern University and studied for three years in Germany. He received his master’s degree in science from Loyola University School of Medicine. He worked as a neurohistologist, residing in Warren, Pa. for 30 years. Jack enjoyed railroading, environmental issues, genetics and evolution. In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his daughter, Kristina Beuttas and her partner, Dean Schultz, of Doylestown; a sister, Barbara Leverenz and her husband, Jacques, of Whitefish, Mont., and his two loving dogs, Nelli and Maxi. Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, in the Wedgewood Room at Pine Run Health Center, 777 Ferry Road, Doylestown. Interment will be held privately.
