Karl John Lesemann, Jr., 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 13, 2012. His service will be held at the graveside in Magnolia Cemetery Sunday, October 21, 2012, 10 Cunnington Avenue at 3:00 pm. Karl was born April 27, 1923 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Karl John Lesemann and Emily Jahnz Lesemann. He was was formerly an Accountant with C.D. Franke Company and Carolina Shipping Company. He was a graduate of the High School of Charleston and the Citadel. Karl was also a Life Member of the Arion Society and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. He was active in local sailing and was a WWII Veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his sister, Emily Lesemann Sadler of Charleston, SC and eight nieces and nephews. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.
