Robert Bruce Hinton, 64, of Anderson, SC, President, CHOMARAT North America, and former employee of Owens Corning, departed this life on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Emory University Hospital Rollins Pavilion, Atlanta, GA. He was born in Summit, New Jersey to the late Walker and Lucy Elizabeth Pollitt Hinton. He graduated from The Citadel in 1969 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics where he was a Cpl. Sgt., Second Lieutenant in the Fourth Battalion, Oscar Company. He is survived by his lovely wife and soul mate, Sheila Dianne Hadden Hinton of the home, mother-in-law, Jannie Ruth Jones Hadden of Anderson, SC three brothers Wesley Walker Hinton of Milford, OH, Richard Farrar Hinton of Myrtle Beach, SC, James Henry Hinton of Asheville, NC, special friends, family, and caregivers Jannie “Auntie” Ervin, Bonita Dianne Clemons, and his beloved pet Cocoa C. Hadden Hinton.
