Dr. Jack Richard Kaye, 74, died January 1, 2012. He graduated from High School of Commerce with Arista Honors in New York City. He attended the Citadel Military College of South Carolina graduating in 1959. He attended and received his Masters in Arts from Hofstra College graduating in 1960. He then attended New York University Dental School graduating in 1964. Following completion of Dental School he completed an intern rotation at the VA Hospital in New York. He was a member of The Citadel Alumni Association, Royal Society of Health and an Alumni of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University. He served in the United States Army as a commissioned officer at the rank of Captain, with the Dental Detachment in Korea I Corp Division, where he was a member of the 38th Parallel Dental Society. He received a Certificate for service with sincere appreciation from the Disabled American Veteran while serving in the Armed Forces of American during a time of conflict. He was Honorably discharged from the United States Army and served proudly. He practiced dentistry in New York City prior to retirement to Florida. He is survived by his wife, a son, a daughter and two grandchildren. Burial will be at the South Florida National Cemetery. Tags: 1959
