Burton Irwin Fink, passed from us on April 4, 2009, at the age of 81 after a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth and his sons, Daniel, David, Robert; daughter Karen; proud grandfather of Andrew, Hadrian and Cyrus. Burton was born in Newark, New Jersey, December 20, 1927. Son of Lillian and Herman Fink, and brother to Harvey and Arlene. Served in the Army Air Corp from 1944 until the end of World War Two. Graduated from The Citadel, Military School of South Carolina, in 1952, with a degree in Organic Chemistry. Served as a Second Lieutenant in the Korean conflict. Was employed by National Starch and Chemical until retirement after over 30 years. Lived in Anaheim, California for over 50 years and was an active member of the Kiwanis club of Anaheim, the Sister City relationship with Mito, Japan, the City of Anaheim Public Library Board. A lifelong baseball fan , his team was Angels of Anaheim. Along with Elizabeth, they traveled all over the world from Europe to Asia, cruised both coasts of North and South America, visited Africa, Russia, the Balkans, China and Korea, and traveled the Danube and Rhine rivers.
