William L. (Duby) Baylor, II, of Moncks Corner, died June 22, 2008. He worked with the Berkeley County School District for twenty-two years and retired in June 1995. Baylor was a member of Moncks Corner African Methodist Episcopal Church. He was secretary of the Moncks Corner Exchange Club and was a member of Wachovia’s board of directors, the Berkeley County Mental Health Board, the S.C. Black Chamber of Commerce board of directors. Baylor was past president of S.C. Association of School Personnel Administrators, 1994-1995, director of the Berkeley Arts Council and a member of the NAACP. He was a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Baylor is survived by his wife, Theola W. Baylor, P.O. Box 511, Moncks Corner, S.C.; his children, his sisters, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren an uncle and his nieces, nephews and cousins. Tags: CGC 1987
