Michael John Inabinet Jr. was born on Dec. 26, 1925, in Charleston, S.C., to the late Michael J. Inabinet Sr. and Addie Cannon Inabinet. He graduated from Bishop England Catholic High School in Charleston. He attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated from The Citadel with a degree in civil engineering. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II. Mr. Inabinet was retired from NASA and Rockwell International. He was active in the Knights of Columbus for 61 years and was a forth-degree grand knight. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Bocciolatt Inabinet; his son, David Alan Inabinet; and his sister, Patricia Inabinet Willis. Survivors include his son, Michael John Inabinet III of Harvest; daughters, Carol Inabinet Keefe and husband Bob of Woodbury, Minn., Diane Inabinet Kushner and husband George of Louisville, Ky., Laura Inabinet Werth and husband Tim of Huntsville and Amy Elizabeth Inabinet of Birmingham; seven grandchildren, Colin and Courtney Keefe, George, Thomas and Katherine Kushner and Benjamin and Adeline Werth; and sister, Mary Inabinet Ayres of Hollister, Mo. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
