In a break from tradition, Michael Scheuer, '18, serves as the lead bass drummer of the Massed Pipes & Drums at the 2026 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo (REMT), the first Tattoo performer to serve in that role. Typically, high-ranking military bands take complete charge of the rhythm.
