On September 5, 1992, The Citadel Football beat the University of Arkansas 10-3 in Fayetteville, Ark. The 1992 Bulldog football team became the winningest in The Citadel's history.

Cadets stopped by to pick up swords donated as part of the CAA’s Legacy Sword program. Presentation of these Legacy Swords was executed by Shamus Gillen, ’96, who handles the program here in the Alumni Office. Swords donated to the program by alumni are used for a variety of purposes, including being loaned to current sword-bearing cadets, use in Junior Sword Arch and inclusion in historical displays. The Citadel Alumni Association’s Sword Legacy Program creates a link between members of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets and members of the Long Grey Line.
