MARITAL STATUS: Married to the former Beronica L. Morris. Two children: Mish Nichols (32, of Charlotte, NC), Lillian Boland (28, of Columbia, SC); proud grandfather of Sloan (29 months) and Shea Nichols (12 months).

CANDIDATE'S STATEMENT: Never has there been a more important time for positive leadership on the Board of Visitors. General Rosa and the many new additions to the staff will need members who will encourage and direct our great college to reach its full potential. By embracing our past and clearly defining our future as a bastion of excellence in Leadership, Academics and Athletics, we will continue to have an Alma Mater that deserves and demands respect from the military, industry and other institutions. I welcome the opportunity to serve to insure we maintain this course.
